5. In Co-op communication is paramount.
Know what's going on, tell your partner anything they may not be able see. Know where Marcus/Dom is at all times using "Y". This has been dubbed as "Y-ing".
ex: "I found some ammo." "Where at?" "Just Y me, I'm next to it."
4. Don't rush.
Keep calm, take it slow and think. Take cover and when the area is finally clear, scrounge for ammo, weapons, COG tags.
Just remember unless you have a time limit to do something, which is rare, pace yourself so you miss nothing.
3. Get familiar with ALL the weapons.
Using the Dawn for the first time in the heat of battle can be fun but a little frustrating. First chance you get try it out if you can, learn that after the SAT fires you can still move it's aim for a short time before it needs to recharge. Each weapon has their own perks like that.
Figure out which configuration you not only need but want. There IS a difference between the two.
2. Active reload can be your Soulmate or Satan.
This just plain old takes practice some people get it quick and before they know they have 30 new Achievement points for doing it.
If you just practice between firefights and learn how wide/thin each weapons "sweet spot" is it will show. And if you don't and you keep jamming up, that puts you front and center in a bad way.
1. The Y button is the greatest thing, other than the chainsaw.
First and foremost this will save your ass.
Pay attention when this comes up, hit it, read the caption and look close.
This helps a lot during boss battles for sure. If you get stuck, can't figure it out start running everywhere to activate the trigger event for the "Y" pop-up to happen.
Bonus tip: Berserkers are blind, they only hear and somewhat smell you. Remember if you don't want her to charge at you at that instant walk, keep all vibrations to a minimum.
Remember Tremors, anyone? Well think more muscle and teeth.
Good luck out there Gears and keep kicking ass. Out.
