Weapons in Gears 1

Well this started off as a comment but I just had so much to say I just figured I'd make it a diary.
Its hard to pinpoint the advantage and disadvantages on the weapons with Gears 1, because almost every weapon in this game has 2 different scenarios...you can shoot somebody with the lancer and use your entire clip and they won't go down or you can use a quarter of it and down somebody(without active). Shoot somebody with Boom and your lucky if they blow up or get downed..Shotgun is weird because you can get a head shot from 30 feet, but sometimes it takes more than 1 shot point blank range to get the kill. Tourqe Bow has changed as well. I have stuck and seen arrows stick in players and sometimes it blows up sometimes it doesn't. Even if it does blow up theres still a chance they won't die. Also the radius with grenades seems to change all the time . In some cases you do not have to be near it for it to blow you, or the opponent up, versus being close to it and wondering if your going to get stunned or killed. In conclusion, Its hard to say what they need to improve on with the weapons for gears 2 besides the fact that the weapons should be more consistent.
What are your thoughts? I don't remember it being this bad until they started all of the updates.

Just got done watching the Penguins finally get a win on the Red Wings and it reminded me of this video I seen today...I just had to share this...This is so hilarious and it just ruined their celebration...this team from Canada won a trophey and during the celebration it fell a part and slammed against the ice....and the reaction from the crowd is just priceless, with the team still trying to save the moment...
Ghost Cam

Hey Guys,
I was listening to the podcast and have heard rumors of the ghost cam. Where you can fly around the map when dead. You are able to do that in Gears 1 as well, your just not able to take pictures. I haven't done it in a while but there was a "glitch" (I guess you can call it)where when you die if you spectate your teammate and he dies, wait until his body has disappeared and then hold the [back] and you'll be able to move the camera all around the stage as long as your holding the back button. If you release it you'll be back to spectating who ever is still in the game. Its a pretty cool thing to do but its hard to see whats going on because the scoreboard is in the way...so go ahead and try it out...not sure if you can still do it considering theres been alot of patches but it should still work.
