I Beat The EPIC Team!

Today with the "game with fame" event. I got invited to a couple of games with CliffyB by himself and other games with other people from the EPIC team. But the last game of the night is one i will remember forever.

I got an invite from Cliff around 6pm thinking it was another game with random people. I got in their, and Cliff, Rod Fergusson, Lee Perry and Joe Graf. They were all locusts. On the other end, their was Fr33climb (who had beat cliffy's team at another event in-person)and another person from the forum. I got in their and invited a friend of mine by the name Macheteman7. HE was lucky enough to get in the game in-time to play.

From the sound of it their was definately a grudge torwards Fr33climb from EPIC and this was the "rematch" game. I was extremely excited to play and when we started couldnt help but chuckle everytime i killed/got killed by someone from EPIC.

We arose victorious 5 rounds to 4.

I myself was the highest scorer in the overal match and even got a complement from Cliff. I had 13 kills and brought 5 people to "down but not out".

It was proabably the most fun ive had online easily and i cannot wait till another event like this. So thanks to the whole EPIC team for not only playing with me, but making the game i consider on of the best i have ever played.

    Well after 3 straight hours of playing, I just want to say "THANKS!" to an awesome bunch of players. Not only were you good (which I learned the hard way) but you guys were totally professional which made it all the more fun.

    To end the night we created an Epic team of Cliff, Joe Graf, Lee Perry and myself against some of the best players we played against earlier tonight - Zoso Fan, BlackNinjas, Fr33climb and a fourth I don't remember the tag of.
    I forgot to tell Lee we were playing Execution so he died a little too quickly in the first couple of rounds but we tied it up and actually took the lead. Of course only to lose it 5-4. It was an awesome match. Look out for those guys if you see them online.

    Anyway, just wanted to jump on before heading home to say "Thanks" as tonight was great. I hope those of you who got a chance to play Epic enjoyed it too. We're going to keep using those gamertags so keep on the lookout, you never know when we'll be on again!

    We were sitting there saying "He's going to kick himself when he finds out". It was an awesome battle. [b]Zoso Fan is a beast. Fr33climb handed me at least 2 frags: one due to a tag and one via the chainsaw. Very competitive match.

    I played with random teams from Epic, not sure who they are and came out on top for the score on our team, but my team lost. The funny part is one of the guys from Epic gave me crap for wanting to play against him, so I switched teams and then lost because of it! Probably a janitor or something.

    Zoso you are so lucky.I wish I could have played with them.Sounds like you owned them considering they were winning and then you guys made a come back and won obviously cus they were getting cocky.
